Delete in the app (fastest)
This removes everything straight away. You need to be signed in on your phone.
- Open Dish Detective and tap the settings icon on the Today screen.
- Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm.
- Confirm it is you: re-enter your password, or approve the Google or Apple prompt.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or the data backed up to it. Use one of the options on this page.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in, including your name, email and profile photo
- Your profile details and nutrition goals
- Every meal you logged, with its nutrition estimates
- Meal photos stored in our cloud storage
- Your NutrAI chat messages and NutrAI memory
- Meal reminders and diary data on that phone
Limited information can remain for a short time in backups, or where we must keep it for security, fraud prevention or legal reasons. Aggregated or de-identified analytics cannot identify you and may remain. Details are in the privacy policy.
Can’t open the app? Ask us to delete it
If you lost your phone, can’t sign in, or have uninstalled the app, send a request. We will check that it comes from the account’s email address, delete the account, and confirm by email. We aim to finish within 30 days.
The button opens your email app with the request filled in, addressed to joynulabedin.dev@gmail.com. Nothing is uploaded from this page. You can also write to us directly.
After you delete
You can create a new account any time. It starts empty, and deleted meals cannot be restored. If you only want a fresh start, you can also delete individual meals in the app, or clear your NutrAI chat and memory from the NutrAI screen.
